Volunteer project “We stand up together”

The volunteer project “We stand up together” was created by caring Ukrainians in the very first days of military aggression, when explosions and shots were heard in many cities of Ukraine, and at the same time, thousands of requests for help.

We could not stand aside and immediately began to provide the most necessary things in order to save the most valuable thing – human lives!

We did the impossible many times: despite shelling and lack of fuel, we evacuated people from hot areas, found and brought insulin and other urgently needed medicines. For mothers with babies – baby food and baby products. Food and water – to where they were so expected, because they had not been there for many days. Where there was no way to cook, we brought ready-made meals. There, where people were left without anything, often even without outerwear – warm clothes, dishes, strollers and other necessities. Where confused people were looking for the information they needed, we found and provided it (where to settle, how to leave hot areas, where to find employment for migrants, etc.).

For more than a year, day after day, our project has been working without breaks and days off, by volunteers alone, without support from various funds and grants, but only at the expense of caring people. Every month we covered with our activities all new areas of assistance, responding to the most urgent needs of people.

During this time, our project has helped more than 2,000,000 times.
